After stumbling up on this annual festival the day before, festival chairperson, Maryanne Webber found me an empty spot among the artists where someone had failed to show up and that I could come back the next day if they still were not there. Lucky me! Been doing it every year since.

Not knowing what to draw exactly, I went through my closet and found an old National Geographic from the 1980's that had a photo from Steve McCurry that had always fascinated me as the girl in the photo's name and whereabouts were such a mystery.
