‘Twas the night before Christmas in 1984 …
I heard someone a knockin’ so I opened the door
I wasn’t expecting company so who could it be?
Well low and behold, it was my old friends, Han and Chewie!
Before we got a chance to sit down, the doorbell rang
It was Prince with his guitar and he was ready to sang
As he strummed the guitar, we heard the crack of a whip
Why it was Indiana Jones and the thing from the sewers called “It”
As the house got full and things were getting out of hand
Someone suggested “hey let’s start a band”!
We played, we sang and danced late into the night
Until Chewbacca and Yoda got into a fight
Dr Jones was having a little too much to drink
And Chewbacca threw up in the kitchen sink
Prince wasn’t having it, so he left in a rush
Soon after, the police were called and told us to hush
As the night settled down and we said our good byes
I climbed into bed, tired and ready to shut my eyes
I awoke in the morning to a year I absolutely abhorred
So I went back to sleep in search of Christmas, 1984
