- 1 lbs ground beef or turkey
- Pasta sauce
- Ricotta Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese
- 8 Lasagna pasta sheets
- Red Onions
- Portobella Mushrooms
- Side Dish - (Broccoli with some Gorgonzola Cheese)
- Optional ... Whatever herbs and spices you wish to add to sauce and cheese
- Optional ... Add 1/4 cup of dry red wine to sauce
Heat oven to 450, Brown beef (or turkey) in skillet, breaking up beef into small pieces and then drain.
Stir in tomato sauce
Cook up Red Onion, Mushrooms and Garlic and then add to sauce and meat.
Grease up dish and add 2 lasagna sheets with beef and sauce on top
Add ricotta and mozzarella cheese
Repeat layers again, starting with pasta.
Wrap dish with foil
Bake at 450 for 30 minutes
Uncover, then continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Let cool for 10 - 15 minutes and serve!
